What is Instagram?

instagram is a popular photo and video sharing social networking service that allows users to share what they like without any barriers.

Instagram Download

You can easily use Instagram on your calculator browser webpage or through a mobile app.

It's easy to get it from your phone's app store.

Below is how to download Instagram:

iPhone: Search for "Instagram" in the App Store search bar.

Find the right one in the list and download it.

Android: Search for it on Google Pay.

Find the right one and download it.

Click "Install" after downloading.

Instagram Account

You need an account to access Instagram. If you have Facebook, you can log in directly using Facebook, as they are products of the same company.

1. Instagram Registration

If you don't like Facebook's login method, you can register an account as follows:

In MyCAD, click Software Update > Instagram Registration Page

Fill out the form with the correct information and click Register

Enter the verification code and complete the process.

How to edit your Instagram profile?

If you want to change your Instagram username or other Instagram profile information, you can easily read the following steps to manage your data.

Click on the Software Update Instagram profile page and sign in to your account.

Edit your information.

Click Submit.

How to change your Instagram password?

Click on your profile > Personal Settings to go to the Change Password page.

Enter your old password and new password to make the change.

Click Change Password.

Instagram Deactivation

Instagram allows users to temporarily deactivate their Instagram accounts. Your profile, photos, comments, and likes will then be hidden until you reactivate them by logging back in.

Log in to the Instagram account you want to deactivate on your mobile device or computer browser (not the app).

Tap the profile icon > Edit Profile.

Scroll down to tap Temporarily Deactivate My Account.

Tap Why You Want to Deactivate Your Account and select one from the list.

Enter your password and tap Temporarily Deactivate Account.

Deleting an Instagram Account

You can easily reactivate a deactivated Instagram account by logging back in, but this will prevent you from registering or deleting the account again with the same username.

Here's a demonstration of how to delete an Instagram account (which cannot be reactivated).

In MyCAD, click Software Update > Delete Your Account page. If you're not already logged into Instagram online, you'll be asked to log in first. You cannot delete an account from the Instagram app.

Select an option from the dropdown menu next to it: Why do you want to delete your account? and re-enter your password. The option to permanently delete your account will only appear after you select a reason from the menu.

1. Following and Unfollowing on Instagram

Once you have an account, the first thing you need to do is follow someone. Then you can see their updates in your news feed without having to repeatedly search their profile.

Simply go to their profile page and click the Follow button. Done.

To unfollow this user, please repeat the steps above, click the "Next" button, and confirm again to unfollow.

2. Blocking Instagram Followers

Instagram users often block Instagram followers. Someone might constantly send spam or posts that make you uncomfortable.

This is a great feature for you because Instagram allows you to block someone so you no longer have to receive their messages or see their posts.

After blocking a user on Instagram, they will no longer be able to find your profile, posts, or stories on Instagram without notification. Their likes and comments will not be deleted from your photos and videos, and your likes and comments will still be visible to them.

Tap their username and go to their profile.

Tap the icon in the top right corner of their profile settings.

Tap Block.

To unblock someone, follow the same steps above and then tap Unblock.

Instagram Messages

Online chat is one of the most popular Instagram features. You can easily send texts, share images or videos, and even have video calls via internet connection.

If you don't know how to use this feature, please read the following steps.

How to Send an Instagram Message

Tap the profile you want to chat with.

Tap "Message" at the top of the profile.

Enter what you want to say.

Tap "Submit".

How to Send Vanished Photos and Videos

Instagram messages let you add effects to make them more fun.

Select a contact from the list to whom you want to send a photo, and a dialog box will open.

Tap the blue camera icon in the bottom left.

Choose a photo or video from your gallery, or take a new photo or video.

Select "View Once" at the bottom of the screen, and then tap "Submit".

If you don't like typing, you can start a video call instantly.

Tap the Direct Messaging icon in the top right corner of the screen.

Open the conversation you want.

Tap the video icon in the top right corner to wait for the connection.

Delete an Instagram message.

Tap Direct Messages in the top right corner.

Swipe the conversation from right to left.

Tap the red Delete button.

Instagram Stories

You can send Instagram Posts and share stories on Instagram with just a simple click. It enables you to post videos or photos, so you can learn more about the steps below and how to post a story and use Instagram filters.

How to Post on Instagram

Click the Add icon at the bottom center of the window.

Tap the self-study resource library. If you've already taken a photo, choose Photo or Video. Click Next based on your needs.

Choose a filter or edit to complete your photo modifications, then click Next.

Tap Share.

You might find it also has other information you can add to your story, such as tags, location, etc.

Okay, does Instagram send changes when you screenshot your story? Not entirely. So you can take an Instagram Story snapshot.

Instagram Hashtags

Hashtags are combinations of letters, numbers, and emojis, followed by a # symbol, which also helps users categorize content.

You can click on hashtags or use Instagram search to get hashtags.

How to Use Hashtags on Instagram

Take or upload a photo or video.

Choose to add a filter, then in the Caption field.

Please remember that a post cannot use more than 30 hashtags, otherwise your comments will not be published.

Instagram Search

Search is one of Instagram's key features; simply type keywords into the search box to get a wealth of answers from the list.

Go to your profile.

Tap the Profile settings icon.

Tap Search History under Account.

Tap Clear Search History.

Backup Instagram

Instagram has a feature that lets you download your Instagram data, including photos, comments, profile information, and more.

Backing up your Instagram data is easy.

Go to your profile > Settings icon.

Scroll down to find Data Download.

Enter your email address and get a copy of your Instagram data.
