Starfield is now available on PlayStation 5 + the "Terran Armada" DLC.

Bethesda Game Studios is excited to announce that *Starfield* is now available on PlayStation 5. The "Terran Armada" DLC and the free "Free Lanes" update are also available on all platforms.

This update is the largest since the game's release, marking the most complete version of *Starfield* – offering something for everyone, from newcomers looking to explore the Settled Cluster to seasoned veterans returning to adventure.

Starting today, the base version of *Starfield* is available on all platforms. We welcome more players to join us in exploring the Settled Cluster.

Starting today (April 7th), *Starfield* officially launches on PlayStation 5. Players worldwide are welcome to sit back on their couches and embark on an interstellar journey to explore the vast universe.

The PS5 version of *Starfield* fully leverages the console's hardware advantages, deeply integrating features such as the light bar, adaptive triggers, and touchpad. On PlayStation 5 Pro, players can also choose "Pro Performance Mode" for a higher target frame rate, or "Pro Graphics Mode" for a superior visual experience.

The "Free Lanes" Update and the "Terran Armada" Story DLC

"Terran Armada" introduces a brand-new questline across the settled star cluster, featuring new characters, locations, enemies, missions, star systems, and rewards. In this new story DLC, players will rise up against an invasion by Earth's robot fleet and shape humanity's future in space.

"Free Lanes" is a free update that adds numerous features and systems designed to deepen the core Starfield experience, making it more appealing to both new and veteran players. The most significant change is the opening of interplanetary travel within the star system. With this update, players can freely traverse between planets in the star system using cruise mode, frequently encountering various events and activities along the way, and spending time aboard the ship with their crew.

This update also includes the following:

* New Locations – Several new encounters, points of interest, and dungeons have been added, significantly increasing the richness of content available for player exploration.

* X-Technology – A new resource that can be used to upgrade weapons, ship modules, etc.

* Enemy Affixes – New enemy levels have been added, with each level possessing unique affixes such as extra shields, increased attack frequency, and elemental damage.

* Satellite Jumper – A new land vehicle.

* Outpost Optimizations – Support for cross-outpost save sharing and the addition of the Nano Whale pet.

* New Crew Members – Muria and the Mini-Droid.

* Starborn Optimizations – The ability to bring a certain number of items into the new game+ when crossing into the One.

The "Free Lanes" update is free for all players. All players who already own the premium version on Xbox and Steam will receive the "Terran Armada" DLC for free, without any additional payment.
